Here we are in the largest flower exchange in the world, located in the suburbs of Amsterdam, in the Netherlands.

It is as big as 70 football stadiums.

According to figures from the Royal Floraholland cooperative, 30,000 different varieties of flowers are sold there.

Tens of millions of roses, carnations and tulips pass through it every day.

These flowers are transported in refrigerated trucks.

They can be shipped anywhere in the world.

They also come from different countries and have a high carbon footprint.
