Sources told Tel Aviv Tribune that a violent Israeli bombardment targeted Jabalia camp and areas in the northern Gaza Strip today, Friday, in conjunction with cutting off the communications network and the Internet, and amid significant reinforcements and the advance of occupation army vehicles on more than one axis in the camp, as its operations continued for the 14th day in a row.
Several families also launched distress calls after the occupation bombed dozens of homes and residential areas in the northern Gaza Strip.
The Israeli army said that a soldier from the Givati Brigade was seriously injured during the battles, while a medical source told Tel Aviv Tribune that 450 Palestinians were martyred in the ongoing Israeli military operation in the northern Gaza Strip for two weeks.
More martyrs
This comes, while the Ministry of Health in Gaza said that the occupation army committed 4 massacres in the Strip, including 62 martyrs and 300 injured who arrived in hospitals during the past 24 hours, thus raising the number of martyrs to 42,500 and the injured to 99,546, since the start of the aggression on October 7. October 2023.
Medical sources told Tel Aviv Tribune that 22 martyrs were killed in Israeli raids on various areas of the Gaza Strip, 11 of them in Jabalia camp.
Al Awda Hospital, north of Gaza, said that it received 3 martyrs and more than 50 wounded following Israeli raids on homes in the camp.
Tel Aviv Tribune’s correspondent also reported that 3 Palestinians were martyred in a bombing by an Israeli march targeting the Al-Fakhoura area, and others were martyred and injured in the bombing of a house near Nassar roundabout in the Jabalia camp.
He added that 6 martyrs were killed in two Israeli raids that targeted a gathering in the vicinity of Palestine Stadium and Al-Nasr Street, west of Gaza City.
Israeli artillery shelling also targeted the Al-Saftawi area, north of the city.
The reporter reported that 15 people – including children – were injured as a result of Israeli raids that targeted a gathering of citizens in the Zarqa area, north of the city.
Ambulances transported the injured, some of whom were seriously injured, to Baptist Hospital, which suffers from a severe shortage of medical supplies.
The reporter also said that rescue teams evacuated a number of injured people in the Tal al-Hawa neighborhood, south of the city, after an Israeli raid targeted a house for the al-Husseini family last night.
Exclusive photos from Tel Aviv Tribune showed the arrival of dozens of injured people from Jabalia camp to Al Awda and Kamal Adwan hospitals in the northern Gaza Strip.
Special scenes from Tel Aviv Tribune also showed some of the destruction that befell some of the homes of the besieged people during the past hours in the vicinity of the Six Martyrs Junction in Jabalia Camp.
The spokesman for the Civil Defense in the Gaza Strip, Major Mahmoud Basal, told Tel Aviv Tribune that they had received many appeals for families still under the rubble in northern Gaza, but the Israeli occupation prevented the Civil Defense from advancing to rescue the wounded and recover the bodies of the martyrs.
He added that the occupation deliberately burned homes containing civilians in the areas of Al-Faluja, Abu Sharkh, and Al-Saftawi.
Resistance operations
On the other hand, the resistance factions confronted the Israeli forces in the northern Gaza Strip, where the Al-Qassam Brigades, the military wing of the Islamic Resistance Movement (Hamas), announced that its fighters targeted an Israeli Merkava tank with an “Al-Yassin 105” shell near the “Shadia School” west of the Jabalia camp.
It was announced that a second Israeli tank was destroyed with a high explosive device east of the camp.
It also broadcast scenes that it said were luring Israeli special forces to a pre-rigged house, near the Al-Saftawi Junction, west of Jabalia.
It is noteworthy that the Israeli army’s expansion of its military operations in Jabalia came despite international calls to stop the genocide it is carrying out in the northern Gaza Strip.
Since the sixth of this October, the Israeli army has begun a new military operation in the northern Gaza Strip governorate, and imposed its siege on Jabalia, preventing residents from fleeing to neighboring Gaza City, and ordering them to flee only via Salah al-Din Street, which extends along the eastern Gaza Strip from its north to its south. .
This is the third ground operation carried out in Jabalia camp since the beginning of the aggression against Gaza on October 7, 2023.
