At least 61 Palestinians were martyred in Israeli raids targeting inhabited homes in the Gaza Strip since dawn today, while Palestinian resistance factions continued to carry out operations against the Israeli occupation forces on various fronts of the incursion, especially in Jabalia, north of the Strip.
While the occupation intensified the bombing of areas north of the Gaza Strip, sources reported to Tel Aviv Tribune that the occupation army planted explosive barrels in the neighborhoods of Al-Faluga, west of the Jabalia camp, and besieged dozens of families there.
In the same area, 11 Palestinians were martyred and others were injured in Israeli occupation forces’ bombing of the Al-Sayyed family’s home.
Kamal Adwan Hospital in the northern Gaza Strip received the bodies of the martyrs and a number of those injured as a result of the bombing, while other Palestinians were injured in an Israeli bombing of a house in the Tal al-Zaatar area of the Jabalia camp.
In Khan Yunis in the south, 3 Palestinians were killed and others were injured in Israeli bombing on the town of Bani Suhaila.
Resistance operations
The continuation of the Israeli bombing and the fall of more martyrs coincides with the resistance factions carrying out new operations, as the Al-Qassam Brigades, the military wing of the Islamic Resistance Movement (Hamas), broadcast pictures of its forces targeting an Israeli force barricaded inside a house in the Jabalia camp in the northern Gaza Strip with a TPG shell. .
It also said that it detonated a barrel bomb in an Israeli force, killing and wounding its members east of the city of Rafah, south of the Gaza Strip.
For its part, the Al-Quds Brigades, the military wing of the Islamic Jihad Movement, said that it targeted, with an RPG shell, a Merkava tank penetrating the Al-Qasasib neighborhood in the middle of the Jabalia camp.
It added that it bombed with mortar shells the occupation vehicles and soldiers stationed at the Civil Administration, east of the camp.
Al-Qassam had previously announced that its fighters were able to detonate an explosive device in an occupation force east of the city of Rafah.
It also detonated a “barrel bomb in an Israeli special force, killing and wounding its members” near the Al-Rayyan area, east of Rafah.
This comes after the Al-Qassam Brigades broadcast video clips yesterday, Monday, of their capture of an occupation “mechanized infantry” company in an ambush east of the Jabalia camp on October 10.
The video showed Al-Qassam members planning the ambush and distributing the positions of the participants in the implementation, as well as the moment of targeting and bombing and the occupation helicopters evacuating the dead and wounded.
It is noteworthy that Israel, with great American support, has been waging a devastating war on the Gaza Strip since October 7, 2023, which resulted in more than 141,000 Palestinian martyrs and wounded, most of them children and women, and more than 10,000 missing persons, according to official data.
