On Thursday, Israeli occupation forces stormed the city of Tulkarm in the northern occupied West Bank, following the death of 6 Palestinians, 4 of whom were in the Tulkarm camp.

The Palestinian News Agency (Wafa) reported that the Israeli occupation forces stormed – today, Thursday – the city of Tulkarm and imposed a siege on its camp.

It was reported that a group of occupation vehicles, accompanied by two heavy bulldozers, stormed the city from its western axis, and headed via Al-Alimi Street, the Courts Roundabout, and Shweika Roundabout towards Tulkarm Camp.

She added that the occupation vehicles bulldozed the infrastructure at the entrance to the main camp, and that these vehicles were stationed at the entrances to the camp, and along Nablus Street adjacent to it on both sides, and imposed a siege on it, while preventing vehicles from passing and forcing them to return towards the city.

Witnesses reported that the Israeli army stormed the city from several directions, under the cover of drones that flew densely overhead.

Martyrs in Tulkarm and Balata

This raid came two hours after an Israeli march bombed a vehicle in the Tulkarm camp, killing 4 young men and seriously wounding 3 others.

A joint statement by the Israeli occupation army and the Internal Security Service (Shin Bet) said that an air force plane carried out an attack in Tulkarm.

The occupation forces had arrested two citizens from the town of Qaffin in Tulkarm in the northern West Bank, amid a campaign of raids, arrests and incursions carried out in several towns in the West Bank.

Earlier Thursday, two Palestinians, including an 80-year-old woman, were killed by Israeli army gunfire during their storming of the Balata refugee camp in the northern West Bank.

Thus, the number of Palestinian martyrs in the West Bank rises to 822 since the Israeli army expanded its operations and settlers escalated their attacks in the West Bank, including East Jerusalem, in parallel with the genocidal war in the Gaza Strip, in addition to about 6,500 wounded, according to official Palestinian data.

Israel continues its massacres with American support and in full view of the whole world, ignoring two arrest warrants issued by the International Criminal Court, last November 21, against Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu and his former Defense Minister Yoav Galant, for committing war crimes and crimes against humanity against the Palestinians in the Gaza Strip.
