On Sunday morning, the Israeli occupation army intensified its bombing of the cities of Gaza and Rafah in the central and southern Gaza Strip, while Palestinian medical sources reported that the number of martyrs from the Israeli bombing of Gaza had risen to 56 in less than 24 hours.

Tel Aviv Tribune’s correspondent said that 5 Palestinians were killed and others were injured in Israeli raids at dawn on Sunday that targeted a building near Al-Jawhara Tower in the center of Gaza City, and a house in the Beach Camp, west of the city.

Eight Palestinians were also martyred in an Israeli bombing that targeted a house in the Al-Sabra neighborhood, south of Gaza City.

An Tel Aviv Tribune correspondent said that another Palestinian was martyred and others were injured as a result of an Israeli raid that targeted a group of citizens north of the Nuseirat camp in the central Gaza Strip.

In Rafah, the reporter reported that Israeli helicopters and tanks bombed the city center, and the occupation forces blew up homes in the Brazil neighborhood.

Meanwhile, the General Directorate of Palestinian Civil Defense said that its crews were able to recover 3 bodies of two children and a woman after Israeli occupation aircraft targeted a house in the Al-Daraj neighborhood, east of Gaza City, last night.

5 occupation massacres and battles in Rafah

In turn, the Director General of the Government Media Office in Gaza, Ismail Al-Thawabta, said that Gaza witnessed yesterday, Saturday, a bloody day with five massacres committed by the Israeli occupation army. He revealed in an interview with Tel Aviv Tribune that the occupation army used bombs with enormous destructive power.

Al-Thawabta added to Al-Jazeera that the Israeli attacks came in light of the collapse of the health system and the spread of famine suffered by about 700,000 residents in the Gaza and North governorates, where no aid has entered for two months.

Meanwhile, the resistance continued its operations by targeting occupation soldiers in various locations in the Gaza Strip, killing and wounding some of them, amid intensifying battles in Rafah in the south.

Al-Qassam Brigades, the military wing of the Islamic Resistance Movement (Hamas), said on Sunday that it, in conjunction with the Al-Quds Brigades, was attacking Israeli occupation soldiers and vehicles in the Yabna camp in the city of Rafah with mortar shells.

UNRWA warns

For its part, the United Nations Relief and Works Agency for Palestine Refugees (UNRWA) said that there is no safe place in the Gaza Strip.

The United Nations organization called for an end to this blatant disregard for humanitarian law and an immediate ceasefire in the Strip.

UNRWA indicated that 69% of school buildings that housed displaced people in Gaza were bombed or damaged directly as a result of the war.
