Medical sources reported to Tel Aviv Tribune that 48 Palestinians were killed in Israeli raids on various areas in the Gaza Strip since Saturday morning.
The raids specifically targeted Jabalia Camp, the entrance to Kamal Adwan Hospital and Al Awda Hospital in Tal al-Zaatar in the northern Gaza Strip, and the Maghazi and Nuseirat camps in the central Gaza Strip, in addition to the city of Rafah.
Palestinian resistance factions also carried out operations against Israeli forces in the various areas of the incursion, especially in the north and the besieged Jabalia camp for the 15th day in a row, as a result of which the Israeli army announced the killing of two of its soldiers and the serious wounding of two officers.
The Ministry of Health in Gaza said that the occupation army committed three massacres in the Gaza Strip during the past 24 hours, with about 19 martyrs and 91 injured arriving at hospitals, bringing the number of martyrs to 42,519 and the injured to 99,637 since the start of the aggression on October 7, 2023.
Targeting hospitals
Tel Aviv Tribune’s correspondent reported that 5 people were killed and others were injured – most of them children – as a result of an Israeli raid that targeted several homes in Jabalia al-Balad.
The bodies and injured were transported to Baptist Hospital, and medical sources at the hospital said that the condition of some of the injured was serious.
The reporter said that the occupation forces surrounded the wounded inside the Al-Yemen Al-Saeed Hospital shelter in Jabalia Camp. They also stormed the Palestine School and positioned themselves in front of the gate of the Hafsa School in the camp.
He added that an Israeli artillery shelling also targeted Abu Hussein School in Jabalia, causing a fire, while appeals were made to rescue the displaced people inside.
Palestinians in shelters in the besieged camp also expressed their fears about the worsening humanitarian situation, and called for international intervention to save them from the suffering they are experiencing.
Israeli army spokesman Daniel Hagari said that the army was able to force hundreds of Palestinians to leave the northern Gaza Strip “after applying continuous pressure,” according to what Israeli media sources reported.
In central Gaza, an Tel Aviv Tribune correspondent reported that 11 people were killed and others injured as a result of an Israeli bombing that targeted a house in the Maghazi camp, while a search is underway for missing persons under the rubble.
In Khan Yunis in the south, 4 Palestinians were killed in an Israeli bombing that targeted a car in the town of Khuza’a, east of the city.
Tel Aviv Tribune’s correspondent also said that rescue teams were able to recover the bodies of 4 martyrs in the Khirbet al-Adas area and the Shaboura camp in the center of the city of Rafah, south of the Strip, and they were transferred to the Nasser Medical Complex in Khan Yunis.
Resistance operations
The resistance factions confronted the occupation forces on several fronts, as the Al-Qassam Brigades, the military wing of the Islamic Resistance Movement (Hamas), announced that its fighters in the Jabalia camp targeted 4 Merkava tanks and two D-9 bulldozers with Al-Yassin 105 and Tandom shells, flashlights, and high-explosive devices.
The movement also announced the detonation of an anti-personnel device in an Israeli foot force, clashing with it with light weapons and grenades, and killing and wounding its members at the Sardah station, west of the camp.
For its part, the Al-Quds Brigades, the military wing of the Islamic Jihad Movement, broadcast images that it said were of the targeting of two Israeli Merkava tanks with RPG shells in the Al-Qasasib area in the center of the camp.
It also said that its fighters destroyed an Israeli Merkava tank by detonating a high-explosive “Thaqib” barrel bomb that was previously planted in the vicinity of Al-Zawiya Mosque in the Tal Al-Zaatar area, east of the camp.
In the eastern Al-Zaytoun neighborhood of Gaza City, the Al-Quds Brigades announced that its fighters blew up two Israeli military vehicles with two “Thaqib” devices in the vicinity of the Musab bin Omair Mosque.
It also said that it shot down an Israeli Quadcopter drone, and was able to control it while it was carrying out intelligence missions in the skies over Gaza City.
It is noteworthy that the Israeli army’s expansion of its military operations in Jabalia came despite international calls to stop the genocide it is carrying out in the northern Gaza Strip.
Since October 6, the Israeli army began a new military operation in the northern Gaza Strip governorate, and imposed its siege on Jabalia, preventing residents from fleeing to neighboring Gaza City, and ordering them to flee only via Salah al-Din Street, which extends along the eastern Gaza Strip from north to south.
This is the third ground operation carried out by the occupation army in Jabalia camp since the beginning of the aggression against Gaza on October 7, 2023.
