Medical sources told Tel Aviv Tribune that 41 Palestinians were killed as a result of the Israeli occupation army’s bombing of various areas in the Gaza Strip since dawn on Saturday.

Tel Aviv Tribune’s correspondent said that 19 people were killed as a result of Israeli shelling that targeted several areas in the Nuseirat camp in the middle of the Gaza Strip since dawn today.

Nine Palestinians were killed when the Israeli occupation army artillery targeted the Abu Yousef family home west of Nuseirat in the central Gaza Strip. He pointed out that the home was housing displaced persons, foreign crews, and workers at the United Nations Relief and Works Agency for Palestine Refugees (UNRWA).

In the northern Gaza Strip, two Palestinians were killed and others were injured in an Israeli air strike that targeted a house in Jabalia camp at dawn today.

In the south, Tel Aviv Tribune’s correspondent reported that 3 Palestinians were killed and more than 20 others were injured in an Israeli bombardment that targeted a house in the Jourat al-Lut area, south of Khan Yunis.

He said that two Palestinians were killed as a result of an Israeli drone bombing of the Al-Shakoush area, northwest of Rafah city, in the southern Gaza Strip.

Limited withdrawal

This comes as the Israeli army announced that the 98th Division had completed its mission in Khan Yunis and Deir al-Balah in the southern and central Gaza Strip.

The army claimed in a statement yesterday, Friday, that its forces killed 250 Palestinians during this operation and destroyed 6 tunnels with a length of 6 kilometers.

The statement confirmed the recovery of 6 bodies of Israeli prisoners who were being held in the area, indicating that the 98th Division is ready to carry out other missions.

In contrast, Israel’s Channel 12 reported that 15 soldiers from the Paratroopers Brigade refused to return to fighting in Gaza.

Israel’s Army Radio also said the government had agreed to extend a decision allowing the recruitment of 350,000 reserve soldiers until the end of this year.

It is noteworthy that since October 7, 2023, Israel has been waging a devastating war on the Gaza Strip, leaving more than 134,000 Palestinian martyrs and wounded, most of them children and women, and more than 10,000 missing, amid massive destruction and deadly famine.

Israel continues the war, ignoring the UN Security Council resolution to stop it immediately, and the International Court of Justice’s orders to take measures to prevent acts of genocide and to improve the catastrophic humanitarian situation in Gaza.
