40 Israeli soldiers were killed since the start of operations in northern Gaza news

Israeli Army Radio revealed – today, Sunday – that 40 Israeli soldiers have been killed since the start of the ongoing military operation in the North Gaza Governorate, last October.

The radio said – via the X platform – “40 soldiers, including officers and soldiers, have been killed since the start of the ground military operation in Jabalia camp, northern Gaza Strip, last October.”

The Israeli army revealed the total toll as part of its announcement, earlier on Sunday, that a soldier was killed and another was seriously injured during clashes in northern Gaza.

According to army data, the number of people killed since the beginning of the war of extermination in Gaza, on October 7, 2023, has risen to 824 people, including those killed in Gaza, the West Bank, Lebanon, and inside Israel.

During the same period, 5,541 Israeli soldiers were injured, according to army data, which is facing accusations of concealing a larger toll of its losses.

On October 5, the Israeli army invaded the northern Gaza Strip, under the pretext of “preventing (the Islamic Resistance Movement) Hamas from regaining its power in the region.”

On the other hand, the Palestinians say that Israel is working to occupy the region and turn it into a buffer zone and displace them under the weight of bloody bombardment and a tight siege that deprives them of food, water and medicine.
