The Palestinian resistance bombed the city of Beersheba with two batches of missiles for the first time since last December. It also carried out a series of operations against the occupation forces in the areas of its incursion into Rafah, south of the Gaza Strip, and in the Al-Zaytoun neighborhood in Gaza City.

Al-Qassam Brigades, the military wing of the Islamic Resistance Movement (Hamas), said on Friday evening that it had bombed the city of Beersheba in response to the massacres against civilians.

Less than two hours after the first attack, Al-Qassam announced the bombing of the city again with a batch of missiles. Tel Aviv Tribune’s correspondent reported that sirens sounded in Beersheba, Hatzerim, and the western Negev.

The Israeli Broadcasting Corporation reported that Beersheba was hit by a barrage of 15 missiles, and the bombing led to injuries among Israelis and damage to buildings, according to Israeli media.

For its part, the Israeli army said that the rockets were fired from Rafah and central Gaza, and added that some of them landed in open areas.

“First Days” scene

Israeli Channel 14 reported that Hamas is firing rockets at Israel with the same force as at the beginning of the war.

The channel’s correspondent said, “The missile attacks on Beersheba take us back to the first days of the war.”

Meanwhile, Tel Aviv Tribune obtained scenes of fierce battles between the Al-Qassam Brigades and the Israeli army east of the city of Rafah.

The scenes showed Al-Qassam elements targeting Israeli forces holed up in homes, and Israeli tanks penetrating the area.

The Al-Qassam Brigades said that they bombed crowds of the occupation forces with a 114 mm short-range missile system east of Rafah.

The Al-Quds Brigades, the military wing of the Islamic Jihad Movement, also said that its fighters bombed the occupation soldiers and vehicles penetrating east of Rafah with mortar shells, and also announced its control of a Skylark drone in the city.

The Israeli army began its attack on the eastern regions of Rafah last Monday, and its forces occupied the Palestinian side of the Rafah crossing.

Tel Aviv Tribune’s correspondent reported that the occupation army continues to control the crossing for the fourth day, preventing the arrival of food and medical aid to all governorates of the Gaza Strip, and also preventing the travel of individuals, patients, and wounded for treatment.

The occupation forces continue their incursion into the eastern neighborhoods of the city, with continued artillery and air bombardment. They also blew up several homes in the town of Al-Shoka and the Al-Salam neighborhood, east of Rafah.

Coinciding with this attack, Israeli forces continue their attempts to penetrate the Al-Zaytoun neighborhood in Gaza City, where they are confronted by the Palestinian resistance.

Losses of the occupying army

Today, the Israeli army announced that 4 of its soldiers were killed and two others were seriously injured in battles in the northern Gaza Strip.

He said that the four soldiers belonged to the Nahal Brigade, and were killed as a result of the explosion of an explosive device.

The Israeli Soroka Hospital also announced that it had received 4 wounded soldiers who were transported to it by helicopter and ambulance, and said that two of the soldiers were in critical condition.

Tel Aviv Tribune’s correspondent reported that the occupation forces penetrating into the Al-Zaytoun neighborhood clashed with Palestinian resistance fighters, and also bombed residential neighborhoods with heavy artillery.

For its part, the Al-Qassam Brigades broadcast scenes showing one of its fighters being sniped by an Israeli soldier and his body catching fire, south of the Zaytoun neighborhood.

Al-Qassam also said that it, in conjunction with the Ansar Brigades, targeted an Israeli helicopter east of the Zaytoun neighborhood with a SAM 7 missile.

Aerial and artillery bombardment

Meanwhile, the occupation forces continued to carry out aerial and artillery bombardment on several residential areas in the Gaza Strip.

Tel Aviv Tribune’s correspondent reported that 8 Palestinians were killed and others were injured as a result of a bombing that targeted the Abasan Al-Kabira area, east of the city of Khan Yunis, in the southern Gaza Strip.

The artillery and aerial bombardment included the Khuza’a and Al-Farahin areas, east of Abasan Al-Kabira, and the Al-Fukhari area.

The Ministry of Health in the Gaza Strip said this evening that the occupation forces committed 6 massacres against families during the past 24 hours, of which 39 martyrs and 58 wounded arrived at hospitals.

The Ministry explained that this raises the number of martyrs since the beginning of the war to 34,943 martyrs, and the wounded to 78,572.

Israel has been continuing this war on Gaza for more than 7 months, and has destroyed nearly 70% of the civilian infrastructure, including homes, schools, hospitals, etc., according to United Nations experts.
