Medical sources told Tel Aviv Tribune that 36 Palestinians were killed in Israeli raids on the Gaza Strip since dawn on Saturday, 24 of them in the northern Gaza Strip.
This comes at a time when the Israeli “Wala” news website reported that Chief of Staff Herzi Halevy ordered preparations to expand the war in Gaza and reinforce the forces there, and that the goal of expanding the fighting was to increase military pressure on the Palestinian factions in additional locations.
The Israeli army and the Internal Security Agency (Shin Bet) also announced the completion of a “joint operation” at what they claimed was the headquarters of the Islamic Resistance Movement (Hamas) in Kamal Adwan Hospital in northern Gaza, and the arrest of more than 240 Palestinians. While the World Health Organization said that this hospital was completely “empty.”
Yesterday, the occupation army forced the medical staff and patients in the hospital to take off their clothes in the extreme cold, then took them to an unknown destination after storming it earlier and burning its facilities.
Today, the occupation forces released about 400 people, including medical personnel, who were arrested when they stormed the hospital.
Those released gave testimonies about the abuse they were subjected to inside the hospital, being beaten with rifle butts, and being kept for long hours on the ground in the extreme cold.
Displaced people also confirmed to Tel Aviv Tribune that the occupation forces carried out field executions against civilians in the vicinity of Kamal Adwan Hospital.
On the other hand, Tel Aviv Tribune’s correspondent said that 10 Palestinians were martyred in an Israeli bombing that targeted a house in Beit Hanoun in the northern Gaza Strip at dawn today.
The reporter also confirmed that two Palestinians were killed and others were injured in an Israeli bombing that targeted a tent housing displaced people west of the city of Khan Yunis, south of the Gaza Strip.
Two Palestinians were wounded in a second Israeli raid on a house in the Qaizan al-Najjar area, south of the same city.
Resistance operations
On the other hand, the resistance factions continued their operations against the occupation forces in the various areas of the incursion. The Al-Qassam Brigades, the military wing of the Hamas movement, announced that its fighters sniped an Israeli soldier near the Sultan Studio area, east of Jabalia al-Balad, north of the Gaza Strip.
The brigades added that the fighters reported storming an Israeli military point, clashing with soldiers with light weapons and grenades, and causing them to be killed and wounded in the Abu Safiya area, east of the Jabalia camp.
For its part, the Al-Quds Brigades, the military wing of the Jihad movement, broadcast a clip showing its fighters bombing Israeli soldiers and vehicles in the vicinity of Al-Attar Mosque, southwest of the city of Rafah, and their control of a reconnaissance plane while it was carrying out intelligence missions.
It is noteworthy that Israel – with American support, and in full view of the whole world – has been committing genocide in Gaza since October 7, 2023, which left about 152,000 Palestinian martyrs and wounded, most of them children and women, and more than 11,000 missing, amid massive destruction and famine. Dozens of children and the elderly were killed in one of the worst humanitarian disasters in the world.
