The Civil Defense in Gaza reported the killing of 35 Palestinians, including women and children, in separate Israeli raids on the Gaza Strip since Monday morning, while Israel is preparing to train its naval forces for land combat due to a shortage of fighters.

Tel Aviv Tribune’s correspondent said that 12 Palestinians were killed and others were injured in an Israeli bombardment that targeted a house in the Nuseirat camp, in the central Gaza Strip, and that rescue teams, with the help of residents, are working to remove the rubble and search for missing persons.

Five Palestinians, including a child, were killed and dozens were injured in an Israeli bombardment that targeted a bakery in the Al-Mawasi area, which includes displaced people west of Khan Yunis, southwest of the Gaza Strip, according to what Tel Aviv Tribune’s correspondent reported.

The correspondent added that Palestinian ambulance crews transported the bodies of the martyrs and a number of the injured to Nasser Medical Complex in the city.

Eyewitnesses said that the bombing targeted the bakery in an area classified by the Israeli occupation army as “safe.”

Earlier, the Ministry of Health in Gaza announced that the Israeli occupation forces had committed, during the past 24 hours, 3 massacres in the Strip, resulting in the arrival of the bodies of 20 martyrs and 76 wounded to hospitals.

Thus, the number of victims, since the beginning of the Israeli war on the Gaza Strip, has risen to 41,226 martyrs, in addition to 95,413 wounded.

Targeting the tents of the displaced

During the past months, the occupation targeted the tents of the displaced in the Al-Mawasi area and shelters in various areas of the Gaza Strip, which resulted in the deaths and injuries of martyrs.

After Israel bombed their homes, threatened their residential areas and forced them to leave, the displaced Palestinians set up temporary camps in different areas of the Strip, where they live in difficult conditions due to the war.

These camps lack the most basic necessities of life, and represent a temporary refuge for many families who were displaced by the bombing.

Since the beginning of the Israeli war on Gaza, the Palestinians have been facing repeated displacement, as the Israeli army orders residents of residential areas and neighborhoods to evacuate them in preparation for bombing, destroying, and penetrating them.

Two million displaced persons out of a total population of 2.2 million are forced, during their displacement, to seek refuge in schools or the homes of relatives or acquaintances, or to set up tents in the streets, schools or other places such as prisons and amusement parks, under difficult humanitarian conditions where there is no sufficient water or food, and diseases are spreading.

The Israeli bombing continues on different areas of the Gaza Strip, resulting in the daily killing and wounding of dozens of Palestinians.

naval forces for land combat

In another context, the Israeli army announced the return of the fighters of the Fifth Reserve Unit to combat in the central Gaza Strip within the 252nd Division.

The army said the unit’s fighters were ready to return to combat in Gaza after recently completing a series of open-area combat exercises that included training in movement, supplies and immediate medical response.

For its part, the Israeli Broadcasting Authority reported that the Israeli army will train naval forces for ground combat due to a shortage of fighters.

With great American support, Israel has been waging a devastating war on Gaza since October 7, leaving more than 136,000 Palestinian martyrs and wounded, most of them children and women, and more than 10,000 missing, amidst massive destruction and deadly famine.

In contempt of the international community, Israel continues this war, ignoring the UN Security Council resolution to stop it immediately, and the International Court of Justice’s orders to take measures to prevent acts of genocide and to improve the catastrophic humanitarian situation in Gaza.
