The Israeli occupation forces continued to bomb sites in Gaza, leading to the death of dozens of Palestinians, in raids at dawn on Monday. While the Al-Qassam Brigades – the military wing of the Islamic Resistance Movement (Hamas) – confirmed that the city of Ashdod was targeted with a batch of rockets.

Tel Aviv Tribune’s correspondent reported that 33 Palestinians were killed and dozens injured as a result of Israeli bombing of homes in Gaza City at dawn today.

For its part, the Ministry of Health confirmed that the number of martyrs since the beginning of the Israeli aggression on Gaza had risen to about 24 thousand, more than two-thirds of whom were women and children.

Meanwhile, Tel Aviv Tribune’s correspondent reported that communications and Internet services continued to be cut off in the besieged sector for the fourth day in a row.

On the other hand, the Al-Qassam Brigades broadcast a video recording that it said showed the bombing of the city of Ashdod on the outskirts of Tel Aviv with a batch of rockets, and said that the bombing was “a response to the Zionist massacres” against civilians in Gaza.

The Brigades also published scenes of confrontations in the Bureij camp in the middle of the Gaza Strip, showing close-up targeting and clashes of its fighters with Israeli army vehicles and soldiers.

The Israeli army announced the killing of a reserve officer from the engineering corps in the battles taking place in the south of the Gaza Strip, and it also announced that 12 officers and soldiers were wounded in battles during the past 24 hours.

This brings the number of Israeli army deaths to 522, including 194 since the start of the ground attack on the Gaza Strip on October 26.

On the other hand, Israeli army spokesman Daniel Hagari said that the army will not withdraw from Khan Yunis or any other place in the Gaza Strip, and that its forces’ operations in the region take time and are adapted to the dangers in the field and the situation of the prisoners.

The occupation army claimed to thwart an attempt by resistance members to transport combat equipment via truck in the city of Khan Yunis, south of the Gaza Strip, and announced that it attacked two militants with a drone during the thwarted attempt.

He added that he confiscated rifles, pistols, hand grenades, RPGs, and diving equipment belonging to a naval force affiliated with the resistance, and during the past 24 hours, he destroyed two weapons warehouses and attacked military buildings belonging to Hamas.
