300 thousand displaced people from Rafah and Israel continues raids on Jabalia | News

A number of Palestinians were killed and wounded in a series of raids launched by Israeli warplanes on Saturday evening and Sunday dawn on residential areas in the northern Gaza Strip.

Tel Aviv Tribune’s correspondent reported that Israeli raids continued on various residential areas in the Jabalia camp and its surroundings, as the occupation army targeted shelters for displaced people in the center of the town of Jabalia, north of the Gaza Strip, noting that the occupation forces are penetrating the eastern regions of Jabalia.

This comes hours after a massacre that led to martyrs and injuries after the occupation army launched raids on Jabalia. Israeli bombing also destroyed the home of Tel Aviv Tribune correspondent Anas Al-Sharif in Jabalia camp.

For its part, the Israeli army claimed that its forces were targeting targets belonging to the Islamic Resistance Movement (Hamas) in the Jabalia area.

The number of martyrs in the continuous bombing since dawn yesterday, Saturday, on residential areas in Gaza City rose to 17 martyrs, in addition to 56 injured.

Two doctors were also martyred in an Israeli bombing yesterday evening, Saturday, on Deir al-Balah in the central Gaza Strip.

Tel Aviv Tribune’s correspondent reported that the ground operation in the Al-Zaytoun neighborhood in the center of Gaza City continues for the third day under the cover of intense raids. The occupation forces blew up residential squares in the area of ​​Eighth Street and Ali Mosque, and continued their artillery shelling of the area with the deployment of snipers.

In the Al-Sabra neighborhood, south of Gaza City, a number of Palestinians were martyred and others were injured in an Israeli bombing that targeted a residential apartment near the Al-Mughrabi Junction. Among the martyrs were a woman and her child, in addition to the injury of 9 children.

Yesterday evening, Saturday, the northern regions of the Gaza Strip witnessed the movement of Israeli military vehicles near the separation fence east of the town of Jabalia, amid intense air and artillery bombardment on the area.

In the south, in Rafah, 16 Palestinians were martyred, including children and women, as a result of the continued Israeli bombardment with aircraft and artillery on various areas of the city, where the occupation army expanded the scope of its displacement of residents and displaced people.

A number of them were martyred as a result of an Israeli bombing that targeted a house in an Arab area north of the city of Rafah, and others were martyred in an Israeli raid on the Al-Salam neighborhood, east of the city, and in the Brazil neighborhood, south of it.

The neighborhoods of El Geneina, Al-Tanour, Al-Nahda, and the town of Al-Shoka are also subjected to air strikes and continuous artillery shelling, destroying citizens’ homes and property.

For its part, the United Nations Relief and Works Agency for Palestine Refugees (UNRWA) said that there is no safe place for people to go in the Gaza Strip, and about 300,000 people were displaced last week from Rafah as the forced and inhumane displacement of Palestinians continues.

Yesterday, Saturday, the Israeli army expanded its ground and air attacks simultaneously in all the governorates of the Gaza Strip after demanding the displacement of the people of large areas in the north of the Strip and the center of the city of Rafah (south), and its incursion into the south of Gaza City and east of Khan Yunis (south), in addition to carrying out a series of violent raids that resulted in Dozens of martyrs and wounded were reported in various areas of the Gaza Strip.

Since the start of the Israeli incursion into eastern Rafah about a week ago, the eastern neighborhoods and the city center have been subjected to repeated bombardment, causing dozens of martyrs and forcing thousands to flee.

Since October 7, 2023, Israel has been waging a devastating war on the Gaza Strip, causing tens of thousands of victims, the majority of whom are children and women, and leaving behind widespread devastation, health and environmental disasters, and humanitarian crises, which necessitated the trial of Tel Aviv before the International Court of Justice on charges of genocide.
