The three members of the inspection team entered at midnight through the guard who secures the entrance to the base, without being searched.

Unit 8200 is considered the largest unit in the Israeli Military Intelligence Directorate, and it undertakes the task of collecting key information, in addition to developing information collection tools and constantly updating them, analyzing and processing data, and delivering information to the competent authorities. The unit relies on technical development and the cyber dimension with the aim of achieving intelligence superiority at all levels of the Israeli security system, including military and political.
