The Ministry of Health in Gaza announced that the occupation forces committed 3 new massacres during the past 24 hours, claiming the lives of more than 100 martyrs, at a time when the Palestinian resistance announced the targeting of occupation soldiers stationed at the Rafah crossing in the south of the Gaza Strip.

The Ministry of Health in Gaza said – in a statement this afternoon, Saturday – that the occupation committed 3 massacres in the Strip, including 101 martyrs and 169 wounded who arrived at hospitals during the past 24 hours.

The Ministry reported that the number of victims of the Israeli aggression had risen to 37,551 martyrs and 85,911 injured since the seventh of last October.

This morning, Tel Aviv Tribune’s correspondent reported that two Palestinians were martyred in an Israeli artillery shelling on the Al-Zaytoun neighborhood, southeast of Gaza City.

The reporter said that a child was martyred and others were injured as a result of an Israeli bombing that targeted a house in the Nuseirat camp in the central Gaza Strip, and two people were injured when the occupation forces targeted fishermen near the Gaza port.

Tel Aviv Tribune’s correspondent reported that there were martyrs and wounded in the bombing of a residential square in the Beach Camp, west of Gaza. There were also martyrs and others wounded in the bombing of an Israeli march on Kashko Street in the Al-Zaytoun neighborhood in Gaza City.

One person was also martyred and two injured in a drone bombing of a gathering of citizens north of the city of Rafah, south of the Gaza Strip, while the body of a martyr was recovered from George Street, east of the city.

Buildings were blown up in Rafah

Also in Rafah, the occupation forces blew up several buildings in the center and west of Rafah, and also blew up homes in the Brazil neighborhood, south of the city.

Medical sources reported that more than 25 Palestinians were martyred yesterday, Friday, and dozens of others were injured in an Israeli bombing of a camp for displaced people in the Al-Mawasi area, west of the city of Rafah, which includes more than a million displaced people.

In a related context, the Israeli occupation forces continue to besiege the Saudi neighborhood west of Rafah and constantly target it through air strikes and artillery shelling.

Pictures obtained by Tel Aviv Tribune show the extent of destruction and devastation inside the Saudi neighborhood, whose residents and ambulance crews are prevented by occupation forces from entering to retrieve the bodies of the martyrs and evacuate the injured.

Resistance operations

On the ground, the Al-Quds Brigades, the military wing of the Islamic Jihad Movement, announced targeting the occupation soldiers stationed at the outer gate of the Rafah crossing and its surroundings, causing what it described as direct casualties.

In a related context, Israeli media reported that two rockets exploded in an open area on Kibbutz Sufa in the Gaza Strip.

Tel Aviv Tribune’s correspondent also reported hearing sirens sound in the Sufa area on the Gaza Strip after suspected missile launches from inside the Strip.

Yesterday, Friday, the Israeli Broadcasting Corporation stated that the Israeli government is preparing to soon announce the defeat of the Al-Qassam Brigades, the military arm of the Islamic Resistance Movement (Hamas), after the end of the Battle of Rafah in the southern Gaza Strip, despite the statements of many former military commanders in Israel, which confirmed the impossibility of defeating Hamas.

Military and strategic expert, Major General Fayez Al-Duwairi, commenting on the issue, said that what was reported by the Israeli Broadcasting Corporation about Israel’s imminent announcement of the defeat of the Al-Qassam Brigades is an attempt to get out of the impasse that the occupation is experiencing in the Gaza Strip.

Al-Duwairi stressed, during his analysis of the military scene in the Gaza Strip, that this anticipated announcement does not reflect the actual reality on the ground, based on estimates by the occupation leaders themselves of the inability to eliminate the Qassams, which has been repeated during the recent period.
