29 thousand martyrs and missing persons as a result of the aggression on Gaza News

The director of the government media office in Gaza, Ismail Al-Thawabta, told Al-Jazeera – today, Friday – that more than 29,000 martyrs and missing persons are due to the Israeli aggression on the Strip, with more than 7,000 people still under the rubble.

He pointed out the difficult health conditions of the people of the northern Gaza Strip, noting that about 800,000 citizens in Gaza City and the northern Gaza Strip cannot reach hospitals.

Al-Thawabta explained that the occupation army still has dozens of stolen bodies of martyrs.

The Palestinian Ministry of Health in Gaza announced that the occupation forces committed 20 massacres during the past hours, which led to the death of dozens and the injury of hundreds, as a result of the Israeli bombing of the central and southern areas of the Strip.

Tel Aviv Tribune’s correspondent reported that the occupation forces were carrying out severe artillery shelling north of the Bureij refugee camp in the central Gaza Strip.

It was also reported that a young man was martyred and 5 injured in an Israeli raid on a house near the Jordanian field hospital west of Khan Yunis, and 3 Palestinians were martyred and others were injured in an Israeli bombing of a house west of Khan Yunis in the southern Gaza Strip.

For its part, the United Nations announced that 100,000 Palestinians were forced to go to the Rafah area near the border with Egypt in recent days, due to attacks launched by the Israeli army on the central areas of the besieged Gaza Strip and the Khan Yunis area.

Tens of thousands of displaced people from the areas of Nuseirat, Al-Bureij and Al-Maghazi are heading to the already overcrowded city of Deir Al-Balah, and are crowded into hastily established camps made of temporary tents.

Almost all of Gaza’s 2.3 million residents were forced to leave their homes, and many were displaced several times.

The Ministry of Health in the Gaza Strip announced the death of 187 Palestinians and the injury of 312 others in the Strip during the past 24 hours, noting that the number of victims of the Israeli aggression has risen to 21,507 martyrs, in addition to 55,915 injured since the start of the war, the majority of whom are children and women.
