Medical sources told Tel Aviv Tribune that 29 Palestinians were killed in Israeli shelling of various areas in the Gaza Strip since dawn today.

This comes as the Israeli army announced that the 98th Division had completed its mission in Khan Yunis and Deir al-Balah in the south and center of the Gaza Strip.

The army claimed in a statement that its forces killed 250 Palestinians and destroyed 6 tunnels, 6 kilometers long, during this operation.

The statement confirmed the recovery of 6 bodies of Israeli prisoners who were being held in the area, indicating that the 98th Division is ready to carry out other missions.

In contrast, Israel’s Channel 12 reported that 15 soldiers from the Paratroopers Brigade refused to return to fighting in Gaza.

Israel’s Army Radio also said the government had agreed to extend a decision allowing the recruitment of 350,000 reserve soldiers until the end of this year.

Israeli bombing

Tel Aviv Tribune’s correspondent reported that 4 Palestinians were killed and more than 20 injured, including children, in an Israeli bombardment of Al-Ajarmah Street in Jabalia camp, north of the Gaza Strip.

Israeli helicopters also targeted the Al-Zeitoun neighborhood in the south of Gaza City with machine guns.

In Al-Maghazi camp in the middle of the Gaza Strip, a number of Palestinians were killed and injured in an Israeli raid on a house in the camp.

The correspondent also reported that people, including children, were injured in an Israeli airstrike that targeted a house in the Al-Da’wa area, north of the Nuseirat camp in the central Gaza Strip, at dawn.

He added that the ambulance teams transferred a number of the injured to Al-Awda Hospital in the camp, and 4 injured were transferred to Al-Aqsa Martyrs Hospital in Deir al-Balah due to the seriousness of their condition.

A farewell and funeral ceremony was held at Al-Aqsa Martyrs Hospital for Palestinians killed by the occupation in a bombing of the Nuseirat camp.

In Rafah, in the south, Tel Aviv Tribune’s correspondent reported an Israeli airstrike on the Al Mawasi area, west of the city.

It is noteworthy that since October 7, 2023, Israel has been waging a devastating war on the Gaza Strip, leaving more than 134,000 Palestinian martyrs and wounded, most of them children and women, and more than 10,000 missing, amid massive destruction and deadly famine.

Israel continues the war, ignoring the UN Security Council resolution to stop it immediately, and the International Court of Justice’s orders to take measures to prevent acts of genocide and to improve the catastrophic humanitarian situation in Gaza.
