The Ministry of Health in Gaza said that the Israeli occupation army committed two massacres in the Strip during the past 24 hours, resulting in 20 martyrs and 54 wounded people arriving at hospitals.

This comes as the newspaper “Israel Today” confirmed that 27 ministers and members of the Knesset demanded that Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu approve a plan to declare a closed military zone in the northern Gaza Strip.

Tel Aviv Tribune’s correspondent said that 8 martyrs were killed and others were wounded in an Israeli raid on a school housing displaced people in the Shuja’iyya neighbourhood, east of Gaza City.

He also confirmed that two people were killed and several others were injured in an Israeli bombardment that targeted a civilian car in the Al-Mawasi area, west of Rafah, in the southern Gaza Strip.

He added that ambulance crews recovered the bodies of 4 martyrs who were killed in an Israeli bombardment yesterday in the Khirbet al-Adas area north of the city.

He also reported that the bodies of 5 martyrs were recovered after the occupation forces targeted homes in Al-Bureij camp in the central Gaza Strip yesterday.

Resistance operations

Regarding the resistance operations, the Al-Quds Brigades, the military wing of the Islamic Jihad Movement, said that it targeted the command and control headquarters of the occupation army in the city of Al-Zahraa, south of the Netzarim axis, with 107 guided missiles.

Four Israeli soldiers were killed and five others were injured in an ambush set up by the Qassam Brigades, the military wing of the Islamic Resistance Movement (Hamas), for an Israeli force in Rafah, in the southern Gaza Strip.

According to the information that was revealed, members of the Qassam Brigades blew up a booby-trapped building containing Israeli soldiers, using a highly explosive device, which led to the immediate death of the four soldiers, including a female military doctor.

According to the Israeli military correspondent, the soldiers were also subjected to heavy gunfire from Palestinian resistance fighters after the explosion.

It is noteworthy that since October 7, 2023, Israel has been waging a devastating war on the Gaza Strip, leaving more than 136,000 martyrs and wounded, most of them children and women, and more than 10,000 missing, amid massive destruction and deadly famine.
