20 Israelis were injured after a missile was fired from Yemen, and the Houthis vow to continue attacks news

The occupation army announced – today, Tuesday – that the Air Force intercepted a missile coming from Yemen before it entered Israeli airspace, noting that sirens sounded in several areas of central Israel following the launch of the missile.

This comes as the Houthi group in Yemen vowed to continue its military operations against Israel “in support of Gaza,” stressing that they will not stop “unless the aggression” against the Strip is stopped.

The Israeli ambulance said that more than 20 people were injured due to the stampede while heading to shelters after the missile was launched from Yemen, and that some of them suffered panic.

The occupation army also stated – earlier – that it was able to intercept a march launched from Yemen that was on its way into Israel.

Yahya Saree (military spokesman for the Houthis) announced that they carried out two drone operations, the first against a military target in the Ashkelon region, and the other targeted the Jaffa region.

The spokesman said – in a televised statement – that his group “is continuing its military operations against the Israeli enemy in response to the Palestinian resistance in the Gaza Strip, and these operations will not stop unless the (Israeli) aggression against Gaza is stopped and the siege is lifted.”

Intensive operations

It is noteworthy that the Houthi group has intensified its targeting of Israeli military sites over the past few days, and announced last Saturday that it had bombed a military target in the city of Jaffa with a hypersonic ballistic missile, “Palestine 2,” which led to the injury of 16 Israelis, according to an Israeli ambulance statement.

Since November 2023, this group has begun targeting cargo ships linked to Israel in the Red Sea with missiles and drones, saying that it comes in solidarity with Gaza in the face of the ongoing genocidal war in the Strip since October 7, 2023.

The Houthis also launch attacks with missiles and drones on Israel from time to time, some of which targeted Tel Aviv, and they stipulate that stopping their attacks is an end to the Israeli aggression on Gaza.
