17 Israeli soldiers were injured within 24 hours News

The Israeli occupation army announced that 17 of its soldiers were injured in the battles in the Gaza Strip during the past 24 hours.

The Israeli army stated that the number of injured among its ranks has risen to 3,720 officers and soldiers since the beginning of the war, including 1,882 who have been injured since the start of the ground attack on Gaza.

644 Israeli officers and soldiers have been killed since the beginning of the war, including 293 in ground battles in Gaza, according to data from the Israeli army, which faces local accusations of concealing a larger toll of its dead and wounded.

This comes at a time when the Palestinian resistance continued its operations against the occupation forces, the latest of which was the announcement by the Martyr Izz al-Din al-Qassam Brigades – the military wing of the Islamic Resistance Movement (Hamas) – targeting an Israeli force of 15 soldiers in an ambush inside a house south of the Al-Sabra neighborhood in Gaza City.

The Al-Quds Brigades – the military wing of the Islamic Jihad Movement – also announced that its fighters targeted Israeli army forces and vehicles stationed in the vicinity of Tal Zorob, southwest of the city of Rafah, and the Abu Oreiban site, in the “Netzarim” axis in the middle of the Gaza Strip.

The Israeli war on Gaza left more than 119,000 Palestinians dead and wounded, most of them children and women, and about 10,000 missing amid massive destruction and famine that claimed the lives of children and the elderly.

Israel continues its war on Gaza, despite a decision by the UN Security Council to stop the fighting immediately, and orders from the International Court of Justice to end the invasion of Rafah, and to take measures to prevent acts of genocide and improve the humanitarian situation in the Strip.

Israel is also challenging the request of International Criminal Court Prosecutor Karim Khan to issue international arrest warrants against its Prime Minister, Benjamin Netanyahu, and its Defense Minister, Yoav Galant, for their responsibility for war crimes and crimes against humanity in Gaza.
