An Tel Aviv Tribune correspondent reported that 15 Palestinians were killed as a result of an Israeli bombardment that targeted several areas in the central Gaza Strip since dawn on Friday, while Human Rights Watch said that it documented Israel’s use of starvation as a weapon in the war on Gaza.
Tel Aviv Tribune’s correspondent reported that two people were killed and others injured in an Israeli bombing that targeted a gathering of Palestinians in the town of Al-Zawaida in the central Gaza Strip. He said that the bodies of the two martyrs and the injured were transferred to Al-Aqsa Martyrs Hospital in Deir Al-Balah.
Tel Aviv Tribune’s correspondent also reported earlier that 4 Palestinians were martyred and 6 others were injured in the bombing by the Israeli occupation forces at dawn today on a house belonging to the Al-Rafati family in Al-Maghazi camp in the central Gaza Strip.

The Civil Defense in Gaza also announced the recovery of two martyrs and several injured people after Israeli occupation aircraft targeted a house near Al-Salam Mosque in the Al-Sabra neighborhood.
Tel Aviv Tribune’s correspondent said that two other Palestinians were martyred in an Israeli bombing on the Abu Holi area, south of the city of Deir al-Balah in the central Gaza Strip.
In the city of Rafah in the south, an Tel Aviv Tribune correspondent reported that two Palestinians were martyred and others wounded in gunfire and shells from Israeli tanks in areas west of the city.
An Israeli raid also targeted the Oraiba area, north of Rafah, and Tel Aviv Tribune’s correspondent reported that several people were injured as a result of Israeli occupation forces firing at the fishermen’s port, west of the city.
Starving
In a related context, Human Rights Watch said that it documented Israel’s use of starvation as a weapon in the war on Gaza.
The organization’s director in Britain, Yasmine Ahmed, told Tel Aviv Tribune that Israel is carrying out collective punishment against civilians in Gaza.
Yasmine Ahmed said, “We documented with Human Rights Watch evidence proving that Israel uses starvation as a weapon, and I repeat, Israel uses starvation of the civilian population as a weapon of war.”
She added, “The evidence is very clear. They are preventing the entry of aid, and Israeli officials have repeatedly said that they will not allow food to enter Gaza until they defeat Hamas. They are carrying out collective punishment of all Palestinian society because of Hamas’ actions.”
Tel Aviv Tribune has monitored cases of acute malnutrition among children in Al-Aqsa Martyrs Hospital in Deir Al-Balah in the central Gaza Strip.
The Government Media Office and the United Nations Children’s Fund (UNICEF) also confirmed that malnutrition threatens the lives of more than 3,500 children in the Gaza Strip, and the Ministry of Health says that severe nutritional deficiency has led to the death of dozens of Palestinians.
