The Israeli occupation army continued to bomb several sites in the Gaza Strip, leaving 125 Palestinian martyrs within 24 hours, bringing the toll to about 24,000 martyrs since the beginning of the war 100 days ago, while the occupation army acknowledged – at dawn on Sunday – the killing of a reserve officer and a soldier.

The spokesman for the Ministry of Health in Gaza, Dr. Ashraf Al-Qudra, said that the occupation army committed 11 massacres against families in the Gaza Strip, claiming 125 martyrs and 265 injuries, a total that reached hospitals only during the past 24 hours.

Tel Aviv Tribune’s correspondent said that 12 martyrs were killed in continuous Israeli bombing on Khan Yunis, south of the Gaza Strip, since dawn on Sunday.

The reporter also reported that there was a violent air strike on the eastern areas of the Bureij camp in the central Gaza Strip.

Tel Aviv Tribune’s correspondent said that one person was martyred and others were injured in an Israeli bombing that targeted a civilian car in the Nuseirat camp in the central Gaza Strip.

Tel Aviv Tribune’s correspondent reported that two people were martyred and injured in an Israeli bombing that targeted the town of Abasan, east of Khan Yunis, in the southern Gaza Strip.

The reporter stated that the occupation forces targeted the town of Al-Zawaida in the middle of the Gaza Strip with heavy artillery shelling, and the Israeli bombing also targeted the neighborhoods of Tal Al-Hawa and Sheikh Ajlin, west of Gaza.

Medical sources reported to Anadolu Agency that there were martyrs and wounded in an Israeli bombing that targeted a house in the Al-Baraka area in the city of Deir Al-Balah. The agency’s correspondent added that the Israeli army targeted, with heavy artillery shells, the vicinity of Street 10, the Al-Zaytoun neighborhood, and the town of Juhr Al-Dik, south of the Gaza Strip.

This coincided with intense bombing by the Israeli army on the Al-Maghazi and Al-Bureij camps, and Al-Jazeera’s correspondent stated that the Israeli forces prevented ambulance and rescue teams from reaching Al-Maghazi camp.

A new tally of martyrs

With the continued death of Palestinians in the Israeli bombing, the spokesman for the Ministry of Health in Gaza, Ashraf Al-Qudra, said that 100 days of Israeli aggression on the Gaza Strip resulted in the number of martyrs rising to 23,968 martyrs, and 60,582 injured, 70% of whom were women and children.

Al-Qudra pointed out that “during the 100 days of its brutal aggression against the Gaza Strip, Israel deliberately wiped out residential neighborhoods with their families, collapsing the health system and destroying its infrastructure.”

Al-Qudra added that the Israeli occupation committed more than 2,000 massacres against Palestinian families in the Gaza Strip, pointing out that a number of victims are still under the rubble and on the roads, and ambulance and civil defense crews cannot reach them.

Al-Qudra accused the Israeli army of deliberately killing 337 health personnel, arresting 99 others in harsh conditions, targeting 150 health institutions, putting 30 hospitals and 53 health centers out of service, and destroying 121 ambulances.

He stated that the Israeli army forced, under bombardment and destruction, about two million Palestinians to flee under harsh conditions and the risk of famine and the spread of diseases and epidemics.

Al-Qudra called on international institutions to conduct effective and focused interventions to prevent the humanitarian and health catastrophe among the displaced.

He criticized the performance of the international community and called for taking effective steps capable of stopping the war. He also called on international parties to provide new mechanisms to ensure the entry and flow of medical aid, medical teams, field hospitals, and the departure of the wounded and sick for treatment abroad.

Clashes and withdrawal

On the other hand, the Izz al-Din al-Qassam Brigades, the military wing of the Islamic Resistance Movement (Hamas), said: “We bombed occupied Ashdod with a Maqadma M75 rocket launcher in response to the Zionist massacres against civilians.”

Tel Aviv Tribune’s correspondent reported that sirens were sounding in Tel Aviv and its southern suburbs.

The Al-Qassam Brigades also said that they bombed crowds of Israeli forces penetrating the Bureij camp in the central Gaza Strip with mortar shells.

The Brigades announced that they had targeted a Merkava tank with an “Al-Yassin 105” shell in Khan Yunis. It said – in a military statement – that its fighters “clashed with a special Zionist force with machine guns” in Khan Yunis.

For his part, Tel Aviv Tribune’s correspondent confirmed that clashes with heavy machine guns continued, in the Bureij camp, between resistance fighters and Israeli occupation army soldiers.

The reporter reported that the Israeli rescue unit continues to transport wounded soldiers from battles in the central Gaza Strip.

On the other hand, the Israeli army withdrew from areas east of the city of Deir al-Balah, in the central Gaza Strip, coinciding with violent bombardment that targeted the city and led to casualties.

Deaths of the occupying army

Tel Aviv Tribune’s correspondent reported that the Israeli Rescue Unit “669” continues to transport wounded soldiers from battles in the central Gaza Strip.

Earlier today, the Israeli occupation army acknowledged the killing of a reserve officer and a soldier from the engineering corps, in battles with the resistance in the southern Gaza Strip.

The army also reported that 12 officers and soldiers were injured in the Gaza Strip battles during the past 24 hours.

The death toll of the occupation army has risen to 523 officers and soldiers in the Gaza Strip since the seventh of last October, while the Palestinian resistance says that the number of deaths of the Israeli army is much greater than the announced number.

The occupation army revealed that 1,106 soldiers had been injured since the start of the ground operation, 240 of whom were seriously injured.
