Medical sources told Tel Aviv Tribune that there were 64 martyrs as a result of Israeli raids on Gaza since dawn on Wednesday, 50 of them in the northern Gaza Strip, at a time when the Palestinian resistance inflicted losses on the occupation forces and set up ambushes, especially in Jabalia.

A medical source added that there were about 120 martyrs within 5 days of the Israeli aggression on the northern Gaza Strip.

Earlier, medical sources told Tel Aviv Tribune that 43 Palestinians were martyred in Israeli raids on the Gaza Strip since dawn today, 21 of them in Jabalia, north of the Strip, before the death toll was announced to rise.

Tel Aviv Tribune’s correspondent reported that 10 Palestinians were martyred and a number of others were wounded west of Jabalia camp in heavy gunfire towards everyone trying to leave the camp.

The reporter also reported that 3 people were martyred and 25 injured, including children, as a result of the occupation bombing of Al-Rafi’i School in Jabalia Al-Balad.

A number of Palestinians were martyred and others were injured as a result of the occupation targeting a house behind the Civil Defense headquarters, west of the Jabalia camp. There were also martyrs and wounded in a bombing on the Al-Fakhoura area in the camp.

Tel Aviv Tribune’s correspondent also reported that 9 people were martyred in a raid that targeted a house next to the Basat Market in the Shujaiya neighborhood, east of Gaza City.

Two others were also martyred today in a bombing that targeted a tent housing displaced people west of the Nuseirat camp in the central Gaza Strip, in addition to 6 others being martyred in a bombing that targeted two houses in the Nuseirat camp and Bureij.

In the south of the Gaza Strip, an Tel Aviv Tribune correspondent said that Israeli gunboats intensively bombarded the beaches of the city of Khan Yunis.

The Ministry of Health in Gaza announced – this Wednesday afternoon – that the occupation committed 3 massacres in the Strip within 24 hours, of which the bodies of 45 martyrs and 130 wounded arrived at hospitals.

Siege of the North

Today, Wednesday, the Israeli occupation army tightened its siege on the northern Gaza Strip from all sides, isolating it from Gaza City, in light of intense artillery and air bombardment and the bombing of citizens’ homes.

The Anatolia correspondent reported that the Israeli army imposed a strict siege on Jabalia and the towns of Beit Hanoun and Beit Lahia, and proceeded to open fire on everyone who moved, in conjunction with artillery and air bombardment that targeted homes, streets, and facilities.

The correspondent explained that the army is forcibly forcing Palestinians to leave their homes in the northern Gaza Strip and head towards the south of the Strip.

Eyewitnesses reported that Quadcopter planes were deployed in the streets of the northern Gaza Strip, firing at any moving object, while army snipers were stationed on high buildings.

The occupation continued to besiege Jabalia camp from all directions and pushed new military reinforcements towards the camp, targeting its homes with bombing. The occupation army bulldozers also carried out extensive sweeping operations in the streets and areas of Jabalia camp and its surroundings.

For its part, the United Nations Relief and Works Agency for Palestine Refugees (UNRWA) said that 7 of the agency’s schools housing displaced persons had been evacuated due to the intensified military operations in the northern besieged Gaza Strip.

Last Sunday, the Israeli army announced the start of a military operation in Jabalia under the pretext of preventing the Islamic Resistance Movement (Hamas) from regaining its strength in the region, hours after a fierce aggression against the eastern and western regions of the northern Gaza Strip, the most violent since last May.

Tel Aviv Tribune’s correspondent also reported that the bodies of dozens of martyrs were scattered in the streets of Jabalia camp, noting that civil defense teams were unable to recover a number of missing persons under the rubble of demolished homes there.

A Gaza health official said that Kamal Adwan, the Indonesian, and Al-Awda hospitals in the northern Gaza Strip received forced evacuation orders from the occupation army, including patients and medical personnel, without providing safe alternatives to evacuation.

In addition to Jabalia, Tel Aviv Tribune’s correspondent said that the occupation army launched continuous artillery shelling on Beit Hanoun, and Israeli marches also bombed citizens’ homes in Beit Lahia, and continued to blow up citizens’ homes in the Al-Tawam area in the northern Gaza Strip.

The occupation forces also continued their artillery shelling of the vicinity of Kamal Adwan Hospital in the northern Gaza Strip.

From the north to the east of the Gaza Strip, Palestinian media reported that the occupation artillery renewed its bombardment on the Al-Zaytoun neighborhood, southeast of Gaza City. These sources said that an Israeli helicopter fired towards the eastern areas of Gaza City in conjunction with firing from the occupation vehicles.

Resistance operations

Also on the ground, the Al-Aqsa Martyrs Brigades – the military wing of the Palestinian National Liberation Movement (Fatah) – announced that its resistance fighters detonated a high-explosive device with an Israeli Merkava tank in the Jabalia camp.

The Izz al-Din al-Qassam Brigades – the military wing of the Hamas movement – also announced that an Israeli Merkava tank was targeted with an “Al-Yassin 105” shell in the Al-Isra neighborhood, west of the Jabalia camp, in the northern Gaza Strip.

The Al-Qassam Brigades said that it detonated an anti-personnel thunderbolt in an occupation army force while it was trying to booby-trap a house and activate a booby-trapped “robot.”

She added – in a statement – that as soon as an Israeli rescue force advanced to the place, a Merkava tank was targeted by an “Al-Yassin 105” shell near the Al-Saftawi Junction, west of the Jabalia camp.
