The Palestinian Ministry of Health announced the death of 12 Palestinians by bullets of the occupation forces in various areas of the West Bank – within less than 48 hours – including 6 martyrs in the town of Kafrdan, west of Jenin, yesterday, Tuesday. The Islamic Resistance Movement (Hamas) mourned the martyrs of Kfardan, and called on the people of the West Bank for greater steadfastness and escalation of the uprising in the face of the occupation and its settlers.

Activists circulated clips of the withdrawal of the occupation forces from the town of Kafrdan, west of Jenin, yesterday evening, after an hours-long storming and violent clashes with resistance fighters, which resulted in the martyrdom of six Palestinians and injuries, and led to major destruction in at least two homes.

Crowds from the town of Kfardan subsequently participated in the funeral of the martyrs, amid shouts of threats against the occupation.

Activists also shared scenes of the occupation forces killing a young man in the town. The pictures showed that he deliberately shot him despite his calls for help and even though he was unarmed.

Hamas mourns and calls for escalation

The Hamas movement mourned the six martyrs in the occupation’s aggression against the town of Kfardan, and stressed in a statement that “their pure blood will pave the path to freedom and victory over the brutality of the occupation.”

Hamas’s statement called on the Palestinian people stationed in the occupied West Bank to “more steadfastness and escalate the intifada in the face of the occupation and its settlers.”

According to Tel Aviv Tribune’s correspondent, clashes took place between resistance fighters and the occupation forces after Israeli special units infiltrated Kafardan. The reporter pointed out that special forces of the occupation raided a house at the main entrance to the town, and imposed a siege on it before firing at it with two energy shells.

The occupation sent large military reinforcements to Kafardan following clashes between resistance fighters and an Israeli special force. According to eyewitnesses, Apache warplanes fired machine guns at the homes of citizens in this town.

Resistance fighters had shot dead a transport truck used by the occupation special forces in the infiltration operation into the town of Kfardan.

For its part, the Palestinian Al-Aqsa Channel reported that the resistance fighters detonated explosive devices in the vehicles of the occupation forces storming Kafr Dhan.

The Al-Quds Brigades, the military wing of the Islamic Jihad Movement, said that its fighters were engaged in violent clashes with the occupation forces storming this town.

Occupation snipers also opened fire on ambulances in Kafardan.

Meanwhile, Tel Aviv Tribune’s correspondent reported that the occupation forces stormed Beit Ummar, north of Hebron in the West Bank, on Tuesday evening, and confrontations also took place between Palestinian youths and the occupation forces in the town of Beit Fajjar, south of Bethlehem in the occupied West Bank.

The occupation forces assassinated 4 Palestinians in the village of Kafr Ni’ma, west of Ramallah, the day before yesterday evening, as resistance fighters confronted special forces that stormed the village.

Two Palestinians were also martyred on Monday morning, one in Al-Faraa camp and the other in Tulkarm.

Since the Israeli aggression on the Gaza Strip on October 7, the occupation army has escalated its operations across the West Bank, with 538 Palestinians martyred since then, and 5,000 others injured, including 660 children, according to official Palestinian data.
