The 2025 summer football transfer market witnessed huge activity in sales deals, as a group of European clubs succeeded in achieving record profits from selling their stars.
Several major deals were concluded in the current summer Mercato, with more expectations because the transfer market continues in the five major European leagues until the first of September 2025.
And next 10 clubs collected the largest income of sales this summer:
1- Bayer Leverkusen (205.5 million euros)
The German giant topped the list after selling several prominent names, most notably Florian Vertz to Liverpool for 125 million euros.
Jeremy Frembong, Odelon Kosuno, Gustavo Puerta, Jonathan Tah and Granite Chaka, thus dispensed with most of its historical crowning elements in the German league title in the season before last, and with them coach Xabi Alonso, who moved to Real Madrid.
2- Chelsea (151.6 million euros)
Despite his great spending, Chelsea gathered a fortune from the sale of Noni Madeweki to Arsenal (60 million euros) and Joao Felix to the Saudi victory in a deal that could rise to 50 million euros.
3- Liverpool (133.3 million euros)
Despite the spending of more than 300 million euros, the “Reds” achieved the third largest income thanks to the sale of Louis Diaz to Bayern Munich (70 million euros) and Garrell Kwansah to Leverkusen (35 million euros).
4- Bournemouth (123.96 million euros)
Bournemouth surprised everyone with this number, after the sale of Dean Hoison to Real Madrid and Milos Kirkiz to Liverpool, along with other players such as Gedon Anthony and Mark Travors.
5- Brighton (121.7 million euros)
Brighton continued in the smart selling policy, with 6 deals, most notably loaning Evan Ferguson to Rome, which added 3 million euros as an additional income.
6- Wolverhampton (111 million euros)
The Wolves team achieved a large amount of only two deals: Matthew Konia to Manchester United and Ryan Ait Nuri to Manchester City.
7- Nottingham Forest (110.87 million euros)
Anthony Elanga to Newcastle (61.4 million euros) formed the largest part of the club’s income, which also benefited from selling a number of young players.
8- Milan (108.8 million euros)
Tijani Renders left Manchester City and the Hernandez to the Saudi Crescent, not to make Milan on the list of large income owners this summer.
9- Sporting Lisbon (104.57 million euros)
The major deal was the sale of Victor Giockeris to Arsenal for more than 65 million euros, which strengthened the income of the Portuguese club from sales.
10- Atlanta (104.05 million euros)
The Italian team reached this number thanks to the Matteo Ritui sale deal to Saudi Qadisiyah, which made it the most expensive Italian player in history.
